ADVANCED ACTING TECHNIQUES

Class Description | ADVANCED ACTING TECHNIQUES

This course is designed for the experienced acting student who is looking to improve and further their knowledge in acting technique. Students will study the theories of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Meisner, Bogart and Alexander through participating in various exercises and applying learned skills to rehearsed scene work. At the end of the course, the scene work will be shared with an invited audience.

                                 

Ages 14-18

Winter Semester: 2/24 thru 5/4 | No Class 4/6 (Spring Break)

BROADWAY TAP

WINTER SEMESTER


Class Description | BROADWAY TAP  

This course will teach the fundamentals of Broadway style tap through fun, upbeat tap combinations. Each week students will learn the essential coordination, rhythm and sound of tap. This course is designed for tappers of all levels! Broadway Tap will close in a performance for family and friends.


Ages 12-18

ACTING TECHNIQUE

WINTER SEMESTER


Class Description | ACTING TECHNIQUE

Have you ever wanted to be on stage? Not sure where to start? This is the class for you! Acting Techniques, for ages 10-13, is a semester-long course that gives you all the tools you will need to start your acting journey! Over the course of the semester, we will be exploring the basics of acting, improvisation, and theatre etiquette, culminating in a one-act play that you will perform for family and friends. Students will also perform in a mini tour for senior communities in the Greater Richmond area. 


Ages 10-13

Winter Semester: 2/17 thru 4/27 | No Class 4/6 (Spring Break)
